About Us

Over the years, Chef Brian Jupiter and I have taken several trips to New Orleans. Since Brian was born and raised there, I had the luxury of viewing the city through the lens of one of its natives. During our visits, the charming Mom-and-Pop joints, dive bars and corner stores always resonated with me. Brian and I usually discovered them off the beaten path. Sprawling with character and charm, they were the authentic emblems of the culture and history of New Orleans. They were also the special places “where everything goes”. No one ever apologized for who they were and why they were having a good time. Our trips always left us feeling invigorated. In New Orleans, every day seemed like Friday.

Ina Mae Tavern & Packaged Goods is a tribute to those adventures. We want you to eat and drink like they do in the free-spirited South. After all, the only thing worth fussing about is a great time.

Our dream was to create high quality, hand crafted, small lots of cabernet sauvignon from top Napa Valley appellations.  In vintage 2000, we made our first barrels from merlot grown on the Carneros property where we lived.  We knew we were on to something special!

Jameson's has been around since 1990. We started out as a Chicken & Rib Take-Out establishment in Long Branch, New Jersey. In 1998 we moved to Neptune and upgraded the establishment to an Eat-In/Take-Out casual restaurant.

For more than forty years, our family has been serving home-style cooking and kept the tradition of southern cuisine alive in our community. In 1968, a former pool hall with two bar stools and a small window to pass plates through became Bankhead Restaurant, now known as K&K Soul Food. Word spread fast about the good cooking and that's why we are still here today.

Khonso Brewing (Khonso) fuses different beer styles together to create a unique beer experience. Khonso’s eclectic beer recipes have bold flavors, aromas and a distinct vibe that comes from the blending of different flavors and styles to create new ones. Our beer is “An escape from the ordinary”, also known as The Khonso Experience.

We use recipes handed down through generations and prepare all of our food with love.  Our cuisine is prepared on site using the freshest and finest ingredients as well as the choicest meats, fish and seafood. We also put a lot of love into our signature 100% homemade desserts - a great accompaniment to our delicious food.

Our obsession with creating the juiciest, most flavorful fried chicken and the fluffiest, most melt-in- your-mouth waffles has, in turn, created something of an underground soul food revolution – one that’s slowly spreading downright deliciousness across the country.
